My Purpose Statement:
The purpose of my life is to joyfully live out God’s will
developing and using my gifts
while walking in a personal relationship with God
and building up the people I encounter.

Professional

If you ask what "work" he does the typical response is "I'm retired from broadcasting."
He doesn't see the rest as work... just playing and living out who God remade him to be.

Since 1983 Dr Mark Schwarzbauer has served as Senior Pastor of Family Worship Center in Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin. Previously he ministered as an associate pastor at Emmanuel Christian Center in Minneapolis and as a Chaplain at United and Children’s Hospitals of St. Paul. During his pastoral ministry in Sturgeon Bay he also served for a time as PhD on staff at Christian Counseling Ministries in Green Bay.

Dr Mark graduated from FVTC in Auto Mechanics and NWTC in Registered Nursing. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from WGU and a Bachelors degree in Behavioral Sciences from from North Central University. He received his 96 credit Master of Arts in Theological Studies with a major in Pastoral Care (Counseling) from Bethel Seminary in St Paul. Desiring to give more care to people he earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Nouthetic Counseling from Trinity Seminary Newburgh Indiana.

The Midwest’s largest contemporary Christian radio station 100,000 watt WPFF grew out of Dr Mark’s heart to care for people. He started WPFF, WRGX (now WLNI) and 10 translator stations. In 2008 he retired from broadcasting.

Dr Mark was a keynote and favorite speaker at National Marriage Encounter. His message on “Sex and Devotions” has been a best seller.

He is an avid Master Scuba Diver and underwater photographer, guitarist, reader and builder of just about anything. He still plays as a Registered Nurse, counsels people as Dr Mark, and joyfully serves at Family Worship Center. If you ask what "work" he does the typical response is "I'm retired from broadcasting." He has also

-worked as a Certified Management Trainer with Zenger Miller (Achieve Global), and Interact Performance Systems.

-Taught psychology and management college courses, -

-did short missions work in Africa and Europe.
-Certified as a Registered Parliamentarian.

Personal

Jill and I have been married for 40 years and have two incredible daughters and two grandsons and a granddaughter. Life couldn't be any better.
Pets: "Patch" our cat "Kitty" our German Shepherd who have both passed on. We have been adopted with joint custody by Norman the cat.
Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: Gelato Cherry Amaretto and Straciatella (I make it at home now with a DeLongi Gelato Machina).
Favorite Food: Pizza from Rome (I also make it from scratch at home but really need a wood fired oven)
Favorite Places: Menominee reservation for Pow wow, Caribbean for diving, Italy for Pizza, anywhere with Jill and wherever our daughters and grand-kids are at the time.
People I'd like to meet: Ravi Zacharias, Rick Warren.
Favorite Day of the Week: Sunday at FWC.

Goals for 2019: Maintain average of 185lbs and optimum health and fitness.
                            Revise my first published work 100 Days Through Matthew, Mark and Luke - The Synoptic Gospels.
                            Conduct promotion on my second published book Vol. 2 of the Daily Commentary and Devotional ~ 40 Days though the Gospel of John
                            Continue to enjoy the Sabbatical time we have been blessed with.
                            Continue editing process on three fiction books I have written.
                                    (1) The Salt Flats Rescue, (2) The Harley and the Heart Attack and (3) The Harley in the Hospital.
                            Do better at building up people and being positive.
